Components of GST

CGST (Central Goods and Services Tax):

Levied and collected by the Central Government on intra-state transactions — sales occurring within the same state (e.g., a transaction happening within Delhi).

SGST (State Goods and Services Tax):

Collected by the respective State Government on intra-state sales — transactions taking place within a single state (e.g., within Delhi).

CGST (Central Goods and Services Tax):

IGST (Integrated Goods and Services Tax): Collected by the Central Government on inter-state transactions — sales happening between two different states (e.g., Delhi to Tamil Nadu)

  • Rent agreement must be witnessed by two persons with their name, address, mobile number, and PAN/Aadhaar, along with signatures
  • Landlord’s PAN and Aadhaar must be submitted with the rent agreement
  • Note: Rent agreement stamp duty must comply with The Indian Stamp Act
