Document Collection
Required documents are submitted by the DIN holders for verification.
Form Preparation
The necessary form is prepared accurately for filing as per regulatory requirements.
Mobile OTP Verification
A unique mobile number is used to complete OTP verification.
Email OTP Verification
A unique email ID is required for OTP authentication.
Form Submission
The form is submitted after affixing the Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) of the Director and the professional.
Approval & Confirmation
The department reviews the submission and, upon approval, sends a confirmation email to the director’s registered email ID.
Director Identification Number (DIN) KYC Compliance
As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), it is mandatory for all Directors and Partners to file the DIR-3 KYC (e-KYC) form on or before 30th September of every financial year. A penalty of ₹5,000 is levied if the form is not filed within the due date.
Note:
This compliance is mandatory even for disqualified directors. The MCA system automatically deactivates DINs for which DIR-3 KYC is not filed.
Certification Requirements
The DIN e-KYC form must be submitted using the Director’s own Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) and must be certified by a practicing professional such as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), or Cost Accountant (CMA).
